Recently, the Changshu Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau in Jiangsu Province, during an inspection of a batch of electromechanical products imported from Germany, discovered that one office printer lacked the CCC certification mark, failing to meet the requirements of the "Regulations on the Administration of Compulsory Product Certification."

According to the "Regulations on the Administration of Compulsory Product Certification," all products listed in my country's CCC certification product catalog must undergo compulsory product certification and bear the CCC certification mark before they can be manufactured, sold, imported, or used in other business activities. The aforementioned printer was listed in my country's CCC certification product catalog, but it lacked the CCC mark, and the consignee and its agent failed to submit a CCC certificate or exemption certificate, seriously violating the "Regulations on the Administration of Compulsory Product Certification." In accordance with the "Commodity Inspection Law" and its implementing regulations, the bureau disposed of the printer according to law.

Therefore, the inspection and quarantine authorities remind consignees and their agents:

First, strengthen communication with foreign equipment suppliers, reminding them of products requiring CCC certification in imported goods, and make relevant preparations;

Second, strengthen contact and communication with the inspection and quarantine authorities, and complete the relevant procedures such as CCC certification or CCC exemption before importation;
